Role Objective:
Our client is seeking a capable Finance Assistant who will support the Finance and Operations department to functions to achieve organizational goals.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Verify completeness and accuracy of all vouchers, check requests, and employee expense reports
- Process weekly disbursements
- Prepare journal entries for accounts payable
- Reconcile benefit invoices to payroll records
- Comply with established internal control practices and procedures to ensure proper management of financial transactions
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Prepare and publish financial statements in time
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings and reports.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Diligently work to avoid exposing client to any financial risks and coordinate with management on any risks articulately and proactively.
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
- Assist in staff management
- Ensure smooth running of operational activities.
- Preparation and presentation of monthly operations reports.
- Any other duty as allocated.

- Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Job Specifications and Qualifications
- CPA Advanced Level.
- At least 3 years’ relevant work experience.
- Knowledge in Accounting software.
- Professional certifications are an added advantage.
