Job Description/Requirements
We are registered CBO of like minded professionals in Kajulu region with an aim of tapping the opportunities within and without the area for general development. We engage in general agriculture where we do commercial production of crops,fish,dairy and poultry farming.We also market for our farmers who are based in the region.
Desired requirements
° Must have finished college or almost done with college
° Academic Transcripts and or certificate of completion as proof of level of study
° Certificate or Diploma in Horticulture or general agriculture
° Understanding of good agronomic practices (GAP)
° Good communication skills
° Team player
° Training in passion fruits, Banana, Mango, and other horticultural crops is an added advantage
Responsibilities
° Carry watering, pruning and weeding
° Timely preparation of farm records and record keeping
° Procurement of farm inputs
° Transport of harvest to designated stores or markets
° Weighing of fruits/Produce
° Perform prompt spraying of farm
° Promote post-harvest management practices
° Any other task as may be assigned by supervisor
